The Extension, Site and any related features, services, functions or content provided by OnlineDirectionsExplorer shall be referred to as "Services". Our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and this Privacy Policy governs your use of the Services

All users of our Services, including the Extension and the Site, are subject to this Privacy Policy. This policy explains the type of information that OnlineDirectionsExplorer collects, how it is used, with whom it is shared and to what extent it can be associated with a specific user. This information may include personally identifiable information ("PII") (such as your name or email address) and non-personally identifiable information (such as your IP Address and browser type). We may use or share this information in certain cases to third parties in order to display third-party links, features and materials (collectively, “Third-Party Materials”) to you.

What Information is Collected?

When you contact OnlineDirectionsExplorer at for issues or questions related to the Services, you may, but are not required to, submit PII. OnlineDirectionsExplorer collects PII in order to enable us to respond to your issues and communicate with you more effectively.   • When you use the OnlineDirectionsExplorer, you may enter search queries or search terms in connection with map-related features, including the display of gas prices, route planning, and location search. The OnlineDirectionsExplorer processes such search queries solely for the purpose of providing the requested functionality.

    Search queries may be transmitted either to our own systems or to third-party service providers strictly as necessary to operate map functionality. Queries submitted in connection with the gas prices feature are transmitted to our servers for the sole purpose of returning gas-price information for the requested city or state. Search queries are processed in real time and are deleted once the corresponding results are generated. We do not store, retain, or otherwise use search-query data after fulfillment of the request. Search-query data is not used for analytics, marketing, behavioral profiling, or advertising purposes. Queries submitted in connection with routing, navigation, or location search features are transmitted to a third-party mapping service provider (such as Mapbox) in order to obtain routing, positioning, and related map data.

    We do not disclose search-query information to third parties except to service providers acting on our behalf and under our instructions. Such service providers are contractually obligated to process search-query data only for the purpose of providing the requested services and to implement appropriate safeguards, including the deletion of such data after processing.

 

  • If OnlineDirectionsExplorer sells all or part of its business, makes a sale or transfer of assets, or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of its business, OnlineDirectionsExplorer may transfer the information we collect as part of that transaction.

How is the Information Protected?
